| Description | SKB has plan to launch the AppleTV+. Not only SKB launch the Apple TV device, but also SKB launch the AppleTV+ APK on their devices, such as Smart3 or SWAN. FYI, there was a modification of memory map to fix Youtube 8K issue. https://mantis.cnsbg.foxconn.com/vaas/view.php?id=1394 Before modify the memory map, there were many error message about out of memory. And, the playing of contents were stopped frequently. After modify the memory map, it's hard to see the error message of memory. But, when I play some contents it stopped after 10 or 20 minutes. It reproduces almost every time. Could you please check it? Hi Sangmin, We will request Synaptics to support generating new TA, which enlarge secure memory to try if it can play successfully with not hitting peak value of bit rate from Apple TV content. The jira number is 175 and you also can refer to it. By then, we need your help to test IPTV/VOD function in SKB environment if Synaptics can adjust a suitable secure memory size to have Apple TV content played well. |

Hi Sangmin, I ran the test for over 30 minutes and I haven't reproduced it yet. Hi, Jason, First, I didn't find the perfect step to reproduce. Sometimes, it reproduced without any operations and it also reproduced when I stop/start the content or fast forward/rewind the content. Hi Sangmin Could you provide the information of meminfo? I think it's hard to reproduce it on our side. We need to use VPN to login SKB UI, but if we use VPN to test AppleTv, We sometimes can not pull high resolution video content from streaming server due to low network speed. The low resolution video can not reproduced memory-related issue. If we launch AppleTv and change the network to Taiwan network. I can see Video Stop symptoms sometimes. But it's hard to clarify if the symptoms come from the SKB network policy (if the network is not a Korean network, the network will reset periodically) |

Hi, Jason, Please check the attached meminfo files. meminfo_after_no_memory -> There were some messages like followings. Hi Sangmin, Synaptics once released a larger secure memory layout (the size of secure memory is 532M) to us, I think we can try this patch first.
